Cahors Malbec

Creamy, berries, slight tobacco note on nose. Nice malbec - preferable to the South American versions for the most part. A little French restraint.

Great wine. Deep color. Not as tanning as a usual Malbec because of the organic treatment. Acidic and mellow simultaneously

An organic Malbec Merlot blend (85/15) aged 12m used barriques. Ripe blackberries & stewed plums with some pomegranate juice and a touch of graphite + pinch of salt. Wooly tannins, juicy acidity and good length. Fully ripe now and drinking really well.
