3L Chateau de Beaucastel Hommage a Jacques Perrin Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rhone. Bday lunch at RW. Perfect. Not too sweet, balanced sweetness which grew with time in the decanter. Beautiful expression of earthiness we associate w Rhone wines. Super special. Everyone was floored at how good this wine was drinking.

Nov 21st, 20163L 1990 Chateau de Beaucastel Hommage a Jacques Perrin Chateauneuf du Pape Rhone blend. Wine for big Korean dinner. Amazing!!! Super cool to drink out of large format. We didn't decant (only for lack of time) and it was delicious. Drinking perfectly and was a great wine to drink w spicy and meaty Korean food. Tons of dark fruit, lots of complexity, and a super long, smooth finish. K and BK thought it drank perfectly.
