Enjoyed from a 375ml. Approachable. Paired very well with a wood oven grilled pork chop. Tannins were slightly astringent on their own, but supporting with the entrée. Lovely fruit profile, even though secondary to terroir.

A go to wine that always delivers a smooth velvety feel...can’t go wrong with this one

17/20 (92/100) Насыщенный аромат спелых ягод чёрной смородины, ежевики, шоколада и кожи. Тельное с довольно высокой кислотностью и интенсивными, но зрелыми, округлыми танинами. Уже готово, можно пить. #dfwe2018

Drinking the 2011 at end of 2016 after a half day decant. Nice cassis bouquet that has a hint of undergrowth. Initial taste is good red fruit but then becomes a little dilute (not enough body to compete with our game pie) with a touch too much acid, the victim of a poor vintage - a shame as has some class.
