Château Dalmeran
Les Baux-de-Provence Red
Dark, glass-clinging, near black purple. Inviting nose of black fruits and new leather. Medium full palate echoes the nose adding a silky plum and soft (medium) tannins. Medium acidity. Medium, blackberry-ish finish. Excellent intro to the rouge side of Provence. Cold weather (drinking) varieties in the body of a warmer weather red. Light cuts of beef and cookout fare will pair nicely, as will any classic “sit down” red wine meals. Drink now

Palate: the same. Medium acid and tannins. This wine’s palate was very challenging to pin down. General earthiness and a little spice.
