Not overly complex, this is certainly the easiest drinking wine I've had from the Medoc region. It's a big wine, with some loud fruit on the nose. You'll taste a nice combination of plums, chocolate, spices, and vanilla. It's got that good old fashioned Old World rustic charm thing going on too. The finish is nice and long like I like it, with just the right amount of spices. The bottle still has a few more years before it hits it's peak but it's good to go now.

Has just come into its drinking, lovely and round to taste, back of the mouth unctuous hint. Very pleased with this.
