70% Negrette, 30% Syrah. I’m trying to taste as many Negrettes as I can, since we have negrette planted at our Southern Oregon vineyard. Anyway - the syrah really rounds out the negrette - smoother and less rustic than in was expecting. I like the earthiness, but still plenty of dark fruit. Interesting, but I would have liked more terroir- this wine doesn’t really have a voice.
