Château Cantelys
Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend
Light Brett on the nose that dissipated with a little time, some fruit left and mostly secondary flavors including leather/Tabacco and minerality.. Tannins soft and acid nicely present. Drinking pleasantly and certainly feel good wine for QPR!

Dec 20th, 2014A bit of funk but I like it. Still plenty of tannin and acidity. Dark dark cassis and cherry.

Mar 31st, 2014Was more enjoyable the last time when I had it with a ribeye. Wow-a lot of funk initially...needs time to decant. Wine has a lot of minerality and is leathery. Probably a few peak years left - had it in February 2020.

Feb 23rd, 2020Closed on day one, muted day two, finally arrives day three. Enigma of a wine with significant bottle age that initially feels past its prime. Kangaroo vintage might have seen better days if consumed closer to release. Have no idea what's left here or if it's on it is on a decline. Black fruit, oak, plum, graphite, minerality.
