NOSE: balsamic, cherry, raspberry, leaves, tea, black pepper, plum, something distinctly floral/perfume like. All very mild, but more going on than I am used to for something this cheap…

TASTE: it’s fine! Light, thin - but still a little silky - mild tannins, minerals (stones), river water, leaves, red fruit (strawberry and cherry, both frozen and mild) and a distinct perfume/rose finish. Less acidity than I expected. This tastes like a watered-down grownup wine (“watery” and “river” the words that keeps coming to mind) … but for $6. I will have to try it again. 88.
