A nice year to taste. Elegant. Balanced tannins. Black cherry prominent.

Clamped shut on day one; brilliantly open and multi-faceted on day two.

Perfect balance of red fruit, earth, spice and tannin. Soft, velvety texture. Great vintage.

Thought this was an old friend Beauregard but one must read menus more closely. Still good but still longing for one of my favs.

Not ready. Or very average. Will revisit, down the line.

Velvety, smooth. Delish.

Just not my favorite wine. Can't put my finger on exactly why but think it's the overwhelming nose and palette of sour cherries.
