Château Belle-Brise
Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend
Unbelievable nose!!! Proud cherry, phenomenal structure. Unfortunately - started to ‘slip’ with age.

Jan 18th, 201530+ minute decant, but should have PnP’d. Wine was dark red with plenty of brownish tints and bricking. Cigar box nose with dirt, tar, and subtle tartness on the palate. Wine was laboring and slowing starting to thin out. Definitely past prime but still very nice. Short finish.

Jan 31st, 2020Very ripe nose. Deep ruby color. Jammy, tastes a bit like fig preserve. Structured and tannic. Powerful wine.

Aug 21st, 20182007 vintage. At Ralph's in Paris. Medium ruby hue. On the nose, bell pepper and vegetal, black fruits and slight peppery cedar wood note. Nose reflective of the vintage. On the palate, medium acidity, medium body, medium alcohol and medium minus concentration of flavour. Tannin's are slightly coarse. The wine is not likely to improve from here and I would suggest drinking within a five year window. Drinkable but not much more.
