Very nice after decanting, but some oxidative aromas too.

On the nose, touch of funky earthiness, muted blackberries, dark sour cherries, black plum, rich dark soils, black raspberry liqueur notes, sweet cassis, dark, rich, moist soils and dark floral bouquet. The full body is rich and lush. The tannins soft and round. Sweet liqueur style cassis. Ripe; blackberries, black raspberries, dark cherries, plum & dark cherries. Sweet, rich, moist, turned earth, sweet anise, soft leather, crushed rocks, dry stones, black tea, dark chocolate, baking spices, light caramel, nice round acidity and long, rich, lush, elegant fruit driven finish with nice earthiness on the long set.

A little complex would be great with game meat

Stunningly complex, absolutely refined, slightly grippy tannins. At the front, licorice, mesquite smoke, and savory meaty nose. Opened into rich leather, rosemary, and teriyaki. Then balanced over the course of dinner, the fruit regaining a foothold with black cherry, currant, and a fresh subtle stemmy character that skirted the edges. Playful and lively after decanting. Really impressed.

A nice earthiness on the nose with dark fruit on the palate. An almost quaffable Bordeaux.

Little funky/aged on the nose. Lots of dark fruit still, well balanced. Seems to be nearing the end of its enjoyability.

Really came to life after about 3 hours of air. Really tasty stuff.

Anise on the nose, needed full hour to open up and offset slight vinegar taste... Tried again and must have been a better bottle than first time. Good from the start, although still better after opening up a bit :)
