Vintage 2012 | a wine that plays hard to get. Brown rim, still cardinal red. Some stable smell, some old wood (6 months barrel ripening), plums, morello cherries. Tough taste, it needed hours in the decanter to gain some easy charm, to get a velvety impression. Four years ago it was more stubborn than now, but unmistakably it is still a bit difficult. Lots of character. Paired with venison stew.

Nov 8th, 2020Vintage 2012 - Roussillon Villages Tautavel - still very powerfull after 4 hours aeration, nice smell! Red summerfruit, mocca, chocolate, even roses. Pretty nice wine.
