Top Notes For
2019 vintage. Médoc. Château Andron. 44 hectares, 68% merlot, 27% cabernet sauvignon and 5% petit verdot. Mechanical harvest. Bottled by the huge Maison Johanès Boubée. No oak, only stainless steel. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, tannins a bit rough with separate bitter in the finish. Cheap Médoc for 4,95 euro, but there is great stuff at the price in more humble Bordeaux appellations.

Oct 25th, 2020Nicely understated and balanced wine. Surprisingly smooth and easy to drink right out of the bottle.

Apr 7th, 2018Rich Bordeaux our newly acquired weeknight wine from Zoe. Probably too full body for our veggie diet. Incorrectly paired with Lean squash dried shrimp and vermicelli but both still taste delicious

May 1st, 2017Excellent wine. Subtle notes but strong tannins at the end. Drinks more like a CA wine which I like.
