2019 vintage. Médoc. Château Andron. 44 hectares, 68% merlot, 27% cabernet sauvignon and 5% petit verdot. Mechanical harvest. Bottled by the huge Maison Johanès Boubée. No oak, only stainless steel. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, tannins a bit rough with separate bitter in the finish. Cheap Médoc for 4,95 euro, but there is great stuff at the price in more humble Bordeaux appellations.

Oct 25th, 2020Good everyday wine. Balanced, bright. Mild tannins. Currents, dry plums. Not overly complex.

Apr 7th, 2018Rich Bordeaux our newly acquired weeknight wine from Zoe. Probably too full body for our veggie diet. Incorrectly paired with Lean squash dried shrimp and vermicelli but both still taste delicious
