I really enjoyed this zin-- even more that I found it at $39. Subtle but complex and layered. Medium vs full. But definitely great fruit from open til completion. You can detect a variety of dark berries (even some blueberries). Definitely has some nice tabun's mixed with the fruit through the sip. Liked it a lot with a NY strip on Xmas.

Offers a good balance of ripe (but not jammy) dark fruit and some savory elements, with the latter becoming more pronounced in the finish. This benefits from a short decant.

Missing some of the zin fruit charm it had 6 months ago, but still a solid bottle. I think I'll wait 6-9 months before opening another, though, as this seems to be regrouping at the moment.

Lovely Zin. So unlike the fruit bombs that have become popular. Clear dark garnet with a pink ring. The high alcohol (14.8%) does occlude the nose. Blow off the fumes and the dry fruitiness comes through. Went beautifully with a charred 2 inch NY strip with red at the center.
