Delicate, pretty and full of cab francy flavor.

A not overmade, sexy wine. Elegant. Get a bit of stinky, wet earth...almost like Bordeaux. Dark but not quite black fruit with a candied element. Drying bitterness. No greenness.

This is my first Chinon! I think this would do well chilled a bit! This wine has a beautiful deep ruby red color, high acidity, body is medium. I am getting just a bit of raspberry, black tea, wet gravel, earth, and black licorice. I am sure this will age well and am sure I opened this to soon! But...I do like it!!

Hrm, a little sour. Is this common for this region? Takes getting used to but is enjoyable.

That Cabernet Franc fragrance is so enticing and refreshing. Herbal, grassy, under-ripe blueberry, low alcohol high acidity, a hint of oak component to give it an extra dimension. Last very long. Would be a great food wine. Well done.
