Pfersigberg Alsace Grand Cru AOC Gewürztraminer

Fantastic QPR at $25, this Alsace Grand Cru Gewürztraminer dazzles demurely with its ripe yellow peach and lychee aromas, white flowers, and lovely texture, just a hint of phenolic bitterness and interesting honey/lanolin (botrytis?). The 14%ABV and moderate RS are well integrated.

Production details: Slow fermentation in temperature controlled vessels, maturation on fine lees for 9 months. Certified organic, limestone marl soil.
