Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

On the nose blueberries, currants, cherries, oak, cloves, acetone, metals, spices, eaucaliptus and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with high acidity and nice legs.

Dry to off dry on the palate with plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, medicine and peppercorn.

Medium finish with soft tannins and spices.

This Cabernet based blend from Washington State is drinkable, but simple and not fully balanced. Spicy with a nice mouthfeel, but a little mediciny and metalic. Not my taste.

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

68% cabernet, 32% syrah (whole cluster). Fermented separately with extended maceration. Appealing rich varietal expression and overall balance. With air time the varietals fuse seamlessly. Velvety black fruit with subtle gravel and herb notes. Impressive wine-craft at this price point.

Great value for the money, packed with flavor!

A little heavier than I wanted for a summer red but very smooth. Would be nice with a hearty pasta or beef dish. Enjoyed at Audrie Claire w/ Lauren L, Cristina and Kaitlyn.

This is pretty good stuff. I get a lot of plum. Tannins are light to medium. Would recommend this bottle.

Let it breathe at least 15-30 minutes

Great tasting red blend with an even better price.

Had to try it because of the label! Maundy Thursday at Lori's. Getting ready for Ahi Tuna.

Smooth and fruity with a sweet finish

Newark airport charged $65 for this wine! It will taste much better at $9 a bottle :-)
