Pale lemon. A lot of whetstone with fennel and ripe yellow pear undertones coming through on the nose. Ripe yellow pear again on the palate, with richness and round texture. A hint of smoke comes through on the palate with a bit of fresh citrus and fennel fronds. It has a lot more depth, and character than most aligotés.
