Smells more like old Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie than Pinot but it shows up on the palette. A really good balanced pinot. Just have to be able to stomach the funk on the nose.

Really stemmy and showing its oak at this time. Disjointed right now. Wait a bit for all these to integrate?

Well mannered - expressive. Interesting front label. We'll put together and has legs.

Tasted after 30m decant. Dark red fruits, smoke. Light acid and nearly no tannins.

Very good wine. Muted cherries at the start then some dunk on the nose and clearer/cleaner cherry available. Should shake off the funk in 2-3 years and become even more enjoyable.

Great funk on the nose, a surprise for Pinot. The palette brings tart red fruit and acidity wrapped in a whiff of butterscotch.
