Doesn't taste its age, medium bodied and slightly mature. Pretty fresh, good acidity, not very complex but enjoyable

Amazing almost 40 year old bottle. It still had a lot of life and was delicious.

It’s not everyday when you see a 1969 burgundy in your grocery store, so I had to indulge. This is definitely not a wine for everyone, but I really enjoy older wines - sour cherries, smoke, leather and spice. Very nice pairing for duck breast with cherry sauce. It was starting to show some magic near the end of the bottle that maybe suggests it could still age even further but at this point, the tannins are all melted away. Fun to drink grapes that were picked when the first person landed on the moon….
