May 1st, 2020Nice smooth tannins but otherwise unspectacular. Not much in the way of aromas. Faint dark cherry flavors. Not the depth one would expect from a ripasso. Alcohol comes to the front.

Nov 26th, 2018Verona area grapes, using ripasso. Very dark, but after decanting it for an hour, it was mouth-filling, yet with lighter flavors than sour cherry and blackberry. There were clear hints of lavender. This wine begs for heavy pasta sauces.
