Really interesting Chardonnay and I think my first time trying something from the Columbia Gorge AVA.. definitely more Burgundian in style, little to no oak, very apple-y, like freshly pressed apple juice. Slight minerality but more refreshing and clean than anything else. Nothing really special here imho.

2013: really strange earthy nose remind me of compost piles or wet decomposing cardboard boxes. The smell thankfully does not carry over to the tongue. It's tart and the hiding flowers in the nose come out a bit more. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with this particular bottle. It's not corked, but it's funky.
