Confession: it’s hard for me to take something so fun seriously. Beautiful floral bouquet (dried),seaside breezes, fruit popping off the brambles. The carbonic making it a little too glou glou for me.

These made for a fantastic pair; both, I think from Steve Kistler’s vineyard. The Ceritas was my favourite with lovely freshness, purity and vibrancy. The SWK was also cool, albeit in a deeper, darker and denser guise - 2017

Really well done Pinot that gained complexity as it opened.

Absolutely delicious. WON. Juicy with racy acidity. Hopefully this style will come to represent the future of pinot noir from the west Sonoma Coast. Last night tasted with Aubert UV-SL and Ferren Silver eagle also from 2017. Stylistically, the heavier higher alcohol Aubert and the Ceritas couldn't be more different with the Ferren somewhere in the middle. The group was split between the Ferren and Ceritas as the favorite but all agreed that all the wines were excellent.

Objectively beautiful. And could stand some more years in the cellar. Fruit is underripe and acid is nicely structured.
