was really rooting for this, but I was left pretty unimpressed--a splash of mid palate fruit and not much else. bad bottle?

A fresh nose offering up cinnamon, nutmeg and cherries. Packs in lots of fruit and earth flavors in a very pleasurable way. Hopefully the tannins will mellow in the next 1 to 2 years.
