Been a while since I’ve had a straight up Cab Franc - great on the nose, mouth drying action to force you to eat a snack but that mature red fruit all along in the background that balances a nice sip from start to finish - good glass!

This has some of the red fruit that I would expect, but not as much as other cab francs I’ve had. This does have nice stony minerality, and a lot of black pepper. Medium bodied with medium-ish puckery tannins. This bottle was a great value at Trader Joe’s.
