After being sick and unable to drink wine for the past couple of weeks I decided to open this Cab Franc and do exactly what it says, be a “lazy bone”! Had a busy week and I’m just going to enjoy some front porch wine tonight! It’s very acidic, medium bodied with lots of tart fruit. Not sure if it’s really what I wanted for tonight but it will do.

Nice wine at a decent price. Good dark berry flavors going, a little earthy. Would be nice to pair with food that's been seasoned with rosemary or thyme.

Decant of course, it's a Bordeaux varietal just over a year old! I love the Lazybones CFs, but for whatever reason they always release right after bottling. My advice: buy a case and stash it in your cellar, then bust it out when they release the 2015 vintage.
