AV 14 Montsant Grenache Blend

Excellent with Chicken. Very smooth easy drinker

Finally showing some balance. Rich fruit and excellent tannins. I need more of this one.

Killer Wine Night. Lineup of 17 wines. Tasted blind. Theme was Old World Killer “B” (the letter “B” has to be the first letter in one of the proper nouns in the wine e.g., region, varietal, type, winery name, etc.)

Wine 11. Smooth, silky, fruit forward but follows with a lot of tar. The “B” is in Cellers Baronia.

Lots of cherry and cola notes on the nose. Menthol and raspberry. Solid. This is a great wine.

Something funky goin on. Gamey meats, stewed fruits, animal fat. Served at 50degrees tasted good, decanted an hour tasted velvety. Then got real blue cheesy and weird as fuck.
Finishing now, glad I tried. Would buy again...but not to impress connoisseurs

2005: earthy, a little spice, leathery. Had it with eggplant parm, worked well. Low acid, so paired well with the tomato sauce.

Blended just right

Loved it! Nice, moderately dry white wine.

Strong notes of mulch right after opening. Tobacco and leather notes develop after half an hour in the glass.

Pnp. Right in it's drinking window. Very good.

Smokey blackberry and blueberry aromas.
Bright red fruits and a touch of earthiness on the palate.
