Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, cherries, cranberries, wood, graphite, black pepper, spices, forest floor and wet leaves.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and pomegranates.
This Spanish, Granacha based red, is still drinking nicely. Not fully balanced, but has a lot of complexity.
Needed an hour to open up and show some tannins. Was probably better a couple of years ago.
A blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French and American Oak barrels for 12 months.

One of 3 wines tried at a tasting last night with the wine maker himself. Silky tannins, dark fruity, cherry, terrior. Great body. Well structured, spice, pepper, but not out of place. 93+ points for me

50% grenache 30% syrah 10% Cabernet, the front end is going to be easy spices notes from the Grenache, middle comes in the Syrah with red berries fruit, the cab is going to round it off with the easy smooth dry finish
