Oct 16th, 2023Blend of 70% Mandó and 30% Arcos, two indigenous varieties from the area (Moixent, Valencia). Aged in clay amphorae for 6 months. Delicate scents of red fruit and orange rind. Hints of clay. Light and juicy. Elegant, fresh, high acidity. Very easy to drink

70% Mandó, 30% Arcos. Fermentación en depósitos de acero inoxidable con un 30% de racimos enteros. Se emplean levaduras indígenas. Maloláctica en tinajas de barro y 6 meses más de crianza en barro. Un vino original, muy ligero, fluido, con un poco de carbónico y recuerdo a azafrán. 12€

Quite pleasant. A fresh, unoaked wine made mostly of an obscure indiginous grape with soft tannins and ripe red berry flavors. A few floral whiffs on the nose as well. This wine had a sort of lift to it, as if it were sparkling, but it was totally still. This sensation had gone by the second day. A blend of mostly Mando, with some Garnacha added in. 12/15/22.
