Treviso Prosecco

Clear golden color. Smells slightly funky. Latex house paint? Soil? Old books? Attics? Flavors are dry and dynamic. Hint of non-sweet honey. (Beeswax?). Tinny bit of yeast on the end. Nice balance. Gratifying.

NV. A tiny bit more residual sugar and more persistent bubbles than the 2024 DOCG we had last. My daughter liked it better for her spritz, so I’ll save a few bucks on the NV if I buy more.

Very light and fruity. Not too sweet

Another nice Trader Joes find. At $8 this is a bargain Prosecco, and not just in price. Citrus abounds: lime, lime zest, lemon and orange, finished with a bit of flinty minerality and wet rock. Dry and delicious, you won't need to reach for the OJ to enjoy this sparkler (but if you want to that's okay too).

Simply light with a hint of baked apple pear.

A delicious start to Easter dinner!!

Very dry, light, nice acidic bite. Can hold its own against champagne or cremant. Pretty bottle, too.
