Nice fruity nose, but light, with blueberries, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, earth and peppercorn.
Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cranberries, earth, wood, forest floor, smoke, green pepper, peppercorn, cloves and spices.
Medium finish with soft tannins, black pepper and tart cherries.
A soft Cabernet Franc from California. Drinkable, but not special. Unbalanced, with some complexity. Probably past its peak by now. I had this vintage every year for the last 3 years, and last year was the best one.

Dirty Ruby in color with wide burgundy rim.
After an hour in a decanter, fruity on the nose with blackberries, wildflowers, black currants, sweet cherries, oak, licorice, coffee, chocolates, spices and peppercorn. Interestingly enough, no vegetables what so ever.
Medium-bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and great looking legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, currants, licorice, vanilla, wood, spices, dark chocolate, bell pepper peel, earth and light black pepper.
Medium Plus on the finish, with velvety tannins and spices.
A Great Cabernet Franc from Central Valley, California. Smooth and elegant, and drinking very well right now.
I had it a year ago and it was not as integrated and elegant as it is now.
Can be had by itself. I paired it with a cheese plate. Drink within the year.
Really evolved in the glass/decanter every 15 minutes. I love it when that happens.
