This is a young Grenache blend from the South of France.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, cherries, currants, earth, wood, spices, light vanilla, vegetables, tobacco, black coffee, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Easy drinking and gentle. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up.

Would benefit from another 5 to 10 years of bottle time.

Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel and mild complexity.

A blend of 60% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, 15% Cinsault and 10% Syrah.

14% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$25.

Good with cheese, less unique by itself. Light in mouth and few distinguishing characteristics when drunk on its own.

Trader Joe's, $25

Light cherry red that's quite transparent. Red fruit and licorice/leathery notes on the nose that kind of remind me of cherry cough syrup, but not unpleasant. Dry, but smooth and easy berry fruit forward, with a slight baking spice sweetness. Complex Earth and spice that tastes a little bit different with each sip. Quite a bit of leathery like tannins. Tangy and almost "fizzy" finish, but not too acidic or astringent like most of the cheaper TJs wines I've become very familiar with. My first time with a CDP and definitely a fan of this this savory yet fruit forward wine.

Too wimpy for my taste buds- it was smooth though and had a nice oaky scent.. Paired with a chicken parmigiana.

It’s fine. I wouldn’t seek it out. Was not overly put together and a little too fruity. Value proposition is off on this one...
