Dec 26th, 2018My last 2012. Still strong! Bacon fat, still lots of great fruit. My favorite of the recent vintages. You need to get on this train if you aren’t. A perennial must buy.

Aug 16th, 2017$19.95 seems a bit expensive for this. When first opened was so tight it was a bit offensive (my friend asked "what is that horrible flavor). I decanted it and it lost whatever that was, but now just drinks kinda boringly. Château-funk on the nose overpowers anything else. I get a bit of raspberry tart and leather, but there is that funk again. I can see structure attempting to emerge, but #fail

Oct 12th, 2016Trader Joe's great value. Easy wine. Not spicy which I wish it had a little more of to be like the traditional southern rhone

Oct 10th, 20168 months later, this is settling nicely. Similar tasting notes. Dark fruits and bacon fat on the nose. Black cherry and some barnyard still present on the palate. Finishes generously, with more bacon fat than grilled meat now. Tannins are smoothing out, but still present enough to suggest this has plenty of life ahead. Just awesome. Massive QPR, but this has to be your thing. If it is, you should always have some on hand.
