Physical proof that the Niagara escarpment (particularly Beamsville bench and Vinemount ridge) are producing perhaps, pound for pound, the best "off-dry" Rieslings on the planet....peach, pineapple, lime and greengage plum are disciplined by wet rocks, lanolin, and ozone. All RS is negated by a savage acidity and a beautiful tannin structure. *yes great Riesling should have tannins.. a truly great wine from some of the oldest vines in the country.
