Tartiness yes, but with almost borderline fruit in the nose and on the palate. Very "American" in character.

Reconnecting with a grape that I've always been a fan of over the years. Forest floor, sharp red fruit and maybe even notes of banana, but all wrapped up in a light bouquet/mouth-feel that evokes burgundy.
