Gold medal in Orange. Nice. Smells lovely. Berries, musk and gunpowder. Maybe a hint of sweat. But nice sweat I swear. Flavors are clean and easy on the tongue. Licorice, fennel, anise are in the mix. Plums. Or maybe more of a French prune, dried. Also roses. Like the kind in a rose infused tea. This is classic low priced Côtes du Rhône. Has some bite and bounce @ a nice lower cost.

Smells a bit plum punchy and plenty winey. Color is maroon with purple edges. Flavor is tart, tannic and inky. Nothing particularly dynamic but plenty of red/black fruits to match the tannic snap. Very dry. Plenty to chewy on.
