Cave des Tilleuls (Fabienne Cottagnoud)
Fendant de Vétroz

So bizarre but I dug it. Really savory wine. Smelled very herbal

Nov 26th, 2015This is a nice surprise. Bought just to round out a case delivery, with blind faith in the Neal Rosenthal import label. It's chasselas from Switzerland. And it's fantastic! This isn't one of those "pure," "streamwater" Alpine wines - it's super-acute, with a cut like a serrated knife - lovers of Austrian wines or German GGs will really grok this. Lots of flinty minerality too.
