Estate Bottled Saint Joseph Syrah

Hints of forest floor, dark cherry, smoke and berry on the nose that come across the palate with unripe tannins and a subtle taste of tomato. Nice medium bodied table red with a clean delightfulness.

Easy to drink with food but tannic and acidic punch that makes it less enjoyable on its own. I get lime peel & maybe unripe blueberry.

This is a yummy wine. Aromas of dark fruit dominate the nose. A hint of chocolate and smoke sneak in. Fruit driven attack with medium acidity to balance it out. Decent length on the finish. Good wine to drink by itself and a great value!

Very good Syrah for the price. Light berry flavors but not fruity at all, slightly dry, good with most meals

None of the sour notes I got in the '13.

Not bad. Expected more but bold enough to handle steak supper. A smooth Syrah with autumnal berries.

Exceeded my expectations. Leather on the nose. Blackberry and pepper on the palette. This goes so well with spicy red meat dishes. Very nice.
