2018 vintage - Medium gold colour. Medium intensity on the nose with notes of apricot, key lime pie, lemon, green apple and honey. The acidity, body and intensity are all medium but the alcohol is high. The intensity on the palate is medium with unripe apricot, lime, lemon, green apple, minerality and delicate violet flavours. There is a subtle oakiness that is mostly felt as a kick of bitterness in the medium finish. Paired with grilled salmon, which really helped the wine become rounder in the mouth and brought some of the fruit notes more forward.
