The dark red '04 Sidney Frank Cellars Pinot Noir 'Cathy Reserve' was the featured wine at my wife Cathy's 50th birthday soirée a few years ago. This remaining bottle still shows lively aromatics of framboise, black cherry and cinnamon spice. Silky textured and full-bodied, the flavor profile of sweet strawberry, cola and white pepper carries through to a long and powerful finish.
