Really feel like I don’t drink enough cab franc, especially from Chinon. This is quite nice though certainly still a touch “rustic” with some slight funkier notes on the finish. Not overwhelming in terms of green pepper but you definitely know it’s cab franc. Only 12% alcohol, and in general sort of aggressively restrained. Enjoyed.

Aug 19th, 2021The OGs of Chinon, finally an elegant cab franc that doesn’t smack me in the face with those pesty overbearing pyrazines @Ted Corvey - amazing what can happen when fruit isn’t picked over-ripe, overextracted, and then bathed in new oak.

May 3rd, 2020Dark fruit with earthy, forest floor notes and peppery spices, with a depth that goes beyond the fruit. Snappy, fleshy, and extremely fresh and zesty. Remarkably approachable stuff.
