Exciting to try this new(ish) project from TRB. He is making a Napa and an SV under this label and it’s a real winner. Among the best cabs we tasted all day and even better when the bottle was finished with a steak at dinner.

Its pretty open at P&P. Its good but we’re getting close to Bevan & Maybach fruit forwardness

From a site in Stags Leap, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Regusci Vineyard offers up an iron, almost bloody vibe in its assorted dark fruits, chocolate, crushed stone, and violet-tinged aromas and flavors. Hitting the palate with full-bodied richness, I love its tannins, and it has flawless balance as well as a great finish.

Needed a good decant but probably more years in the cellar too. Big, dense, mouthful of a wine. Has enough acidity and structure to keep the fruit from going overboard. If I only had the patience... probably improves with time.

Just a notch below the 16,
TRB made wines. With more air this would really shine, 2-3 hours would of been perfect.
Parkers review, he has it a 96 as well,

Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 “Regusci Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon features beautiful ripe plums, black cherries and dark chocolate with suggestions of red currants, black raspberries and spice box plus hints of Sichuan pepper, underbrush and pencil shavings. The full-bodied palate is full-on decadent, featuring rich, velvet-lined black fruit and exotic spice layers, accented by red berry and earthy notions and finishing with great length and depth. 130 cases were produced.
