Merlot. Silky smooth and velvet on the tongue. Very light tannins giving a nice structure. Heavier body than I expect from a merlot but the taste is dark plum on the front and a mild raspberry cranberry note on the sides. Lingers on the palate quite a long time. An elegant sipper.
