This is a delicious red blend from Sierra Foothills in california.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Showing black fruits with tobacco, vanilla, licorice, herbs, cedar, light vegetables, earth, black pepper, pencil lead and chocolates.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old is drinking very nicely now. Nicely balanced with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years. I've had it a year ago, and it is drinking even better now.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.

Really enjoyed the nose, and a great value too.

A blend of 37% Syrah, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Aged for 19 months in American oak barrels (30% new). A small production of only 7 barrels.

15% alcohol by volume.

Deep purple in color with a short reddish rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, black plums, sweet cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, eucalyptus, licorice, cola, dark chocolates, coffee, earth and light vegetables.

Full-bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked figs, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, earth, leather, cola, chocolates, herbs, light vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Medium plus in length on the finish with firm tannins and tangy cranberries.

This 5-year-old Red Blend from California is delicious now. Fruit forward with nice complexity. Shows a great mouthfeel with a nice tangy finish.

Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and show the big tannins. After an hour, spicy notes come in and make it more interesting. After two hours of airtime, the tannins calm down and integrate very nicely.

Good to by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. I paired it with cheeses and fresh blackberries.

A blend of 40% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 3% Petite Sirah. Grapes are grown at 1,900 feet elevation, and aged in American oak barrels (25% new) for 22 months.

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose with blueberries, cedar, blackberries, black plums, licorice, vanilla, spices, leather, chocolates, earth, alcohol, metals, mint, eucalyptus and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, sweet raspberries, cedar, leather, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco leaf, earth, herbs, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Long finish with firm, round tannins and tangy cranberries.

This Californian Red Blend is drinking nicely now, but would be better in a year or two. Showing nice complexity with a great mouth feel. Showing lots of cedar and vanilla notes, that reminds me of a light Napa Red. Not fully balanced yet, and spicy with some alcohol notes.

Very enjoyable and yummy by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of cheeses, meats and crackers.

Needs 90 minutes to open up properly. I'd like to revisit this in 3 years.
