Mid Lemon with a brassy note in colour. Sulphidic/burnt match notes, lemony aromas. A lively palate showing citrus, mineral and bright acid. More lean than full bodied but very good and interesting. Should age well. Winemaker, Rob Diletti, is an experienced Wine Show Judge in demand at Shows around Australia and a Len Evans Tutorial scholar. Barb and I were lucky to have a private tasting at the winery in Porongurup with Rob in January this year. Great QPR - $25 a bottle at the Cellar Door.
