Old Vine Cariñena Garnacha

2007 corked today along with angus ribeye. Great foil against the cracked pepper/sea salt spicing on that steak. Tannins get my attention, in a good way. Nose is jammy on a tobacco cloud, this one drinks nice and dry with dark fruit and enough spice to handle a real nice cut of cow. Not sublime maybe, but a very nice pour of grape.
