May 6th, 2021It has been a week. Kris is eating burrata for dinner. I guess some pasta and lamb, too. And Danny will partake as well. Though next time he wants to sit outside. Or at the counter. But instead we are at a random inside table and the wine is very, very needed tonight. (Plus delicious). Yes these words are random; we can’t manage much else today.

Jan 29th, 2021This 2017 Chianti Classico is 100% Sangiovese. It opens in about an hour and is ready to drink then. I would not hold the wine over a year. No need to. The is balanced. A little to the dry side, but has fruit and a pleasant Sangiovese nose. Does well with big meals. It has moderate alcohol at 13.5% but remains easy to drink. A little to the light side in concentration but the color is deep purple. Enjoy.
