Il Burchino Toscana SuperTuscan Blend
Oh yes! First taste on the palette is amazing! What a marvelous mix of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cab Sav. Mid palette is smooth and comfy to the taste. Toasting cherry licorice and some light berry. Great Toscana flavors. Back to the nose… sweet lilac and flowery fruit. I would pair this wine with salads, and Salmon or a Pork loin. Like the cool tannins on the finish. Superb sipper! Almost close to the best Virginia wines. Very mature soil taste.

It's interesting -- 85% Sangio cut with 10% Cab Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. Not a blend I can recall seeing in the past and you'd think it was Californian if you hadn't seen the label.
