The Black Stump Durif Shiraz

Just ok

Shiraz that taste like a pilot. Average

Pepper finish, smooth

Little sour when you first drink it. Although I don’t prefer sour, when you drink it with appetisers it goes well. It’s a dry wine too so that’s nice.

Lots of verries some licorice. A little bit if smoke. Not as spicy as a usual Shuraz.

Leather and apple pie on the nose. Sweet spice. Loaded with berries & stone fruits, nice tannins, great acidity, mild minerality.

Strong on dark berries. Tastes almost like stewed mixed berries. Some licorice. Smooth finish but doesn’t linger

Big bold wine. Black stewed fruits. Blackberry, licorice. Sweet oak. Dark and inky. Long gamey glaze finish. Better with food. Very enjoyable

Did not get better with sitting, smelled wonderful but had very bad mouth feel

Nose.. lemon, blackberry. Leather

Palate..acidic, dry, full body, med. Tannin, med. Alcohol.
