Cascade Cliffs
Columbia Valley Tempranillo
Purplish-red in color. Phenol, spearmint, barrel smoke and cherry in nose. Black pepper, cherry in mouth with mint and smokiness in finish. Fairly rounded wine, could use less wood.

Jul 4th, 2016Great light bodied wine! Asparagus nose that yields a whole lot more on the palette.

Oct 22nd, 2019Limited experience with Tempranillo. Hits me now as a “summer friendly” wine. A bit lighter in body, not as smooth as some wines but pairs well with food or as a before dinner drink. Drank well but not top of my list this time.
